2016 Summer Olympics Basketball Results and Medal Holders List are here with live updates. Basketball is one of the team sports event, like football, hockey and rugby, the winner is the team who put more balls in opponent basket before time run out.
Basketball made its first appearance in Olympics, in 1936 (Berlin Olympics). All the basketball matches will be held in Rio de Janerio, Brazil between 6th and 21st August 2016. There are
12 teams were participating for Basketball at Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. These 12 teams were partitioned in to two groups with six in each group.
USA, Venezuela, China and Australia are elected to Group A in Men team competition. Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Lithuania and Nigeria are in Group B in Men Team competition.
